Bansko ski resort - BulgariaBansko is the No.1 ski resort in Bulgaria with a great range of modern facilities, luxury accommodation and the longest ski season from December to May.  The town is situated 160km from Bulgaria’s capital city Sofia.  The ski pistes are located in two main centres Valog and Shiligarnika approximately 10km above the town of Bansko on the northern slopes of Pirin.

Borovets ski resort - BulgariaBorovets is the oldest winter resort in Bulgaria which dates back to 1896, and today is the biggest and most modern ski resort in the country.  With a healthy climate and loads of snow from December to April.  Borovets ski resort provides good conditions for skiing, snowboarding and cross-country skiing.  Its biathlon track is the best in Europe.  The town offers an excellent choice of hotels, restaurants and shops.

Pamporovo - Bulgaria

Pamporovo ski resort is particularly good for beginners to the sport as well as experienced skiers.  The resort is situated at the heart of Rhodopi Mountain 1650m above sea level at the foot of Peak Snejanka.  The season begins mid December through to mid April with good snow conditions and climate.  The ski runs are well looked after and experienced ski instructors are available to teach beginners as well as intermediates.  Other facilities within the resort include restaurants and shops.

Chepelare ski resort - BulgariaChepelare has the longest ski run in Bulgaria.  A new high speed quad lift connects the town with the Mechi Chal peak with a capacity of 2000 per hour.  The resort is open from December to April and has pistes for children and beginners in the town.  Local accommodation consists of small privately own hotels in the town and there are a number of historical buildings worth visiting during your stay.
